| 今年度の授業内容 | The course explores the phonetic, grammatical and lexical characteristics of English varieties used by native speakers (British, American, Australian, New Zealand and Canadian English) and a non-native variety used as a second language (Indian English). The course also deals with the social aspects of those varieties. | |
| 準備学修予習・復習等の具体的な内容及びそれに必要な時間について | Handouts will be distrributed on the portal site the day before each lesson. Students are supposed to look through it and practice reading aloud the text before the lesson starts, which will take about an hour | 合計60時間 |

| 授業の運営方法 | All class activities are done in English, which means the teacher lectures using English, and that students are supposed to speak and write in English. If required to do classes remotely, we will do it online, in real time, using Microsoft Teams, a video conferencing tool. Attendence is taken during the rea-time online class. |
